Our Hawkeye story all started in Burlington, Iowa.

Hawkeye Fact #2:

There were two men from Burlington who were largely responsible for the adoption of the Hawkeye nickname: Judge David Rorer (above-left) and newspaperman, James G. Edwards (above-right).
